Apple® has unveiled Applecare One, a new formula allowing customers to protect several Apple products thanks to a single simplified subscription. For only $ 19.99 per month, users can provide up to three devices within the same contract, with the possibility of adding others at any time for $ 5.99 monthly per additional device.
With Applecare One, customers benefit from centralized service and expert assistance from Apple for all of the products covered, thus offering simple and affordable peace of mind. From tomorrow, American consumers will be able to subscribe to Applecare One directly from their iPhone®, iPad® or Mac®, or by going to the nearest Apple Store. This new service brings together all the advantages of Applecare+®: unlimited repairs in the event of an accident (falls, liquids), priority assistance 24/7 by Apple experts, rapid and certified interventions, as well as a battery cover.
Applecare One also extends the protection against theft and loss, which hitherto covered only the iPhone, the iPad and the Apple Watch®. The price remains identical whatever the products covered, which allows, for example, to ensure its iPhone, its iPad and its Apple Watch while saving up to $ 11 per month compared to the subscription of an individual Applecare+ for each device. It is possible to add additional devices for $ 5.99 per month each.
Thanks to Applecare One, customers can now include products they already have and which are up to four years1provided they are in good condition3. This novelty offers more opportunities to protect its devices, even beyond the current 60-day window for the purchase of Applecare+. The management of the contract is also simplified: when a covered product is exchanged directly at Apple, it is automatically removed from the Applecare One plan and replaced by the new device.
In addition, in the form of a monthly subscription, Applecare One facilitates the management of the coverage over time, regardless of the number of devices, and makes it possible to add or remove products from the contract at any time, according to user needs.
