Arrests in Sept-Îles and Maliotenam for drug trafficking

The SQ police arrested three alleged traffickers recently, after having searched an apartment on rue Brochu in Sept-Îles. For their part, the agents of the SPUM arrested a man with a lot of cocaine in Maliotenam.

The three men arrested on Tuesday on rue Brochu will appear before a judge following this important police operation in terms of drug trafficking. During the search, it was found in the apartment and on individuals about 900 methamphetamines tablets, 100 grams of cocaine, 130 grams of hashish and a trunnated caliber rifle.

The work was initiated by the Division of Investigations of the MRC des Sept-Rivières, assisted by the investigators of the major crimes of Sept-Îles and the mixed team SQ-SPUM-GRC.
