Arte announces that Gloomy Eyes, A Cozy-Horror Poetic adventure taking place in a world where the macabre rubs shoulders with the magic, will be available on September 12, 2025 on PC/Mac (via Steam, Gog and Epic), Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
The game tells the story of two atypical protagonists allying beyond their differences to find light in a world plunged into the eternal night. In an artistic style evocative of the universe of Tim Burton, Gloomy Eyes offers a solo-coop gameplay, the two characters that can be successively controlled, through narrative puzzles to be resolved.
Gloomy, an endearing zombie boy, and Nena, a playful human girl, challenge the struggles between humans and the living dead. Thanks to their complicity and their prohibited link in this hostile world, they associate their respective skills in search of the sun, which is no longer rising, tired of human stupidity.
Designed with meticulousness and abundant with details of a macabre charm, Gloomy Eyes Allows players to explore several dioramas from different angles in a whimsical and deliciously dark universe.
Thanks to the solo-coop gameplay, it is possible to successively embody Gloomy or Nena, to use their individual skills and to overcome challenges to discover hidden secrets and resolve narrative puzzles.
