This Friday, August 1, while they are patrolling near the Laye craft area in Saint-Marcel-lès-Valence, in Drôme, gendarmes are alerted by a couple: in a nearby parking lot, a child is asleep in a vehicle parked in full sun.
Once there, they find the situation, facing a vehicle with closed windows and locked doors.
To take out the child, the gendarmes therefore have no choice but to break one of the windows, after having nevertheless patient ten minutes in the hope that a person arrives.
Time to do your shopping
An act of rescue, which was not at all interpreted as such by the mother of the child, arrived at the scene a few minutes later, after half an hour of absence.
After justifying himself by explaining that she did not want to wake up her 4-year-old son time to do his shopping, she attacked the gendarmes, for the broken window.
Convened to the gendarmerie, she will have to explain her behavior towards her child … and facing the gendarmes.
