At 200 km/h on Félix-Leclerc: Salt fine for a 21-year-old driver

A young driver of 21 years received a big fine for having driven nearly 200 km/h on the Félix-Leclerc motorway, in Quebec, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday.

Around 3:30 am, the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) intercepted a vehicle that was traveling at 199 km/h towards the is in the Beauport sector.

As it largely exceeded the permitted speed limit of 100 km/h, the driver was awarded an offense of $ 1836.

He also received no less than 18 incapacity points on his driving license, which is suspended for seven days.

While the last days have been particularly deadly on the roads, the SQ has allowed itself to remember that “human behavior is involved in the majority of collisions”.
