At Mérieux, capital maneuvers while waiting for the fifth generation

How many families of billionaires can pride themselves on having a museum in their name? Or rather to their glory? To that of the Biological Sciences Doctor Mérieux, established in Marcy – l’Etoile, west of Lyon, we tell as much the history of the fight against infectious diseases, from Hippocrates to the present day, as the way in which “the Merieux family has served public health for four generations”. Between the panel of the discovery of the vaccine and that on molecular biology, the family myth is staged in small touches.
