The company unveiled, Thursday, a notebook of 20.9 billion, compared to 15.9 billion at the same period last year.

The president and chief executive officer of the Montreal company, Ian Edwards, said in a statement that the request was supported, both in engineering and in the nuclear sector.

The company formerly known as SNC-Lavalin, however, has slightly revised down its income growth forecasts in the engineering services segment due to lower internationally demand. However, she slightly improved her forecasts for nuclear energy.

Atkinsrelis recorded a net profit attributable to shareholders of 2.3 billion in the second quarter, compared to 82.2 million at the same period last year.

This strong gap is due to a gain of 2.2 billion drawn from the sale of its participation in the 407 motorway in the large region of Toronto.

Total income, for their part, is up 15 % to 2.7 billion. The profit adjusted per share is $ 0.78.

Before the publication of the results, analysts anticipated 2.6 billion income and share per share of $ 0.68, according to the financial data firm Refinitiv.
