This regular cohabitation between humans and wild animals leads the authorities to emphasize the precautions to be taken. The objective: to avoid behavior likely to attract or cause these predators.
If a meeting takes place, the French hiking federation advises in particular not to flee, remain calm, not to place itself between a bear and its young and to slowly leave the premises in the opposite direction.
