Crucified Trump’s sculpture will not be exhibited at Basel station
Faced with the risks of disruption, the controversial work will not be revealed at the station. The Gleis4 gallery is looking for a new location.

The Gleis4 gallery has given up presenting the controversial sculpture representing Donald Trump crucified in Basel station. Initially planned for this location, the work will not be exposed for security issues and because of the potential disturbances it could cause.

The Gleis4 gallery indicates in an Instagram post that “rail stations are not usual places for art galleries and these particular locations therefore require us to take no risk for safety and not to disturb the circulation of people.”
Despite the considerable interest aroused by the work of Mason Stormthe gallery has made the decision to find a new location so as not to compromise the usual flow of travelers. She tells Keystone-ATS that this decision was made without the intervention of the SBB.
