Due to the fire of Mount Underwood south of Port Alberni, on the island of Vancouver, the fire service of British Columbia recommends that non-residents do not go to the community of Bamfield.

Being cut from the Alberni Port region is still a worrying situation for them, but they are used to taking gravel roads to get to their destination. That said, electricity is cut for an indefinite period, and it may be the most worrying.
Secondary road
John Jack recommends that residents of the region to use the secondary road which passes through Youbou and ensures that resources are available for people blocked in Port Alberni.
It is simply a question of being prepared, of understanding that it is very important to have a 72 -hour survival kit and a plan to stay there, and to monitor the sources of information verified.
