Belgium should get out of its “strong heat” plan on Saturday

Air of the North Sea should soon bring a little freshness to Belgium. The “strong heat and ozone peaks” plan should be coming to an end on Saturday with heat expected around 25 ° C in Brussels. With these clearer temperatures, ozone concentrations should also decrease.

The Interregional Environment Cell (Celine) recalls that these plans are activated when the maximum temperatures far exceed the 25 ° C mark. From tomorrow, the maximums should therefore not exceed this temperature, with the exception of a punctual peak on Tuesday.

This Friday, the ozone concentrations in the air remain high, but will not exceed the European information threshold of 180 µg per cubic meter and will then descend from Saturday.

The weather for the next few days

This Saturday, the maximums are therefore expected in Brussels around 25 ° C. The sky will be slightly covered. Sunday, if the sky will emerge again, but temperatures should stabilize around 23 ° C and 24 ° C for Monday.

For the rest of the week, the average temperature will be around 20 ° C with rain announced for Thursday.
