The Swiss National Bank (BNS) published the models of new banknotes on Wednesday. A public survey was launched to decide between various and varied models. The final choice will be announced in early 2026.
Twelve series proposals were presented online to A surveycarried out by a specialized institute, from August 13 to September 7.
The best six, chosen by the population and by a jury of external specialists, will spend a second phase of selection relating in particular to commercial aspects, Details the BNS.

“Tout and Relief”
Launched last October, the graphic design competition for this tenth series has the theme “Switzerland, all in relief”. “It reflects the unique topography of the territory and portrays the diversity of life as it manifests according to the different altitudinal floors”.

The ninth series of tickets was introduced from 2016. The last break, that of 100 francs, was put into circulation in 2019.
