Argentine justice accused a man suspected of having killed and then dismembered at his home at least five people, all on Friday, the prosecution of the province of Jujuy (northwest) told AFP on Tuesday.
A 37 -year -old man was charged on Monday for “homicide aggravated by cruelty” and was placed in pre -trial detention.
The investigation carried out on a serial killer after having raised links among five missing people, analyzed the surveillance cameras and searched the home of the alleged killer, where “bones, blood, pieces of skin and even a nose were found,” the AFP General of Jujuy, Sergio Lello Sánchez told AFP.
In the searched house, a 16 -year -old young man, who presented himself as the owner’s nephew, said to the police: “I want to speak, I want to tell what’s going on”, according to the declarations of the prosecutor responsible for the case, Guillermo Beller, at the local media A24.
He said that his uncle “came out on Friday afternoons and returned in the evening with different people. Apparently, he offered them work and invited them to drink something at home. ”
“I left because I knew that there was bad things there. He struck them a lot, killed them, cut their parts, burned them and put them in garbage bags, “said the young man.
According to Mr. Lello Sánchez, the victims “were people in a situation of marginality who wandered in the streets”, generally elderly.
The investigation is currently committed to “analyzing these supposedly human remains and obtaining biological samples from the parents of the missing to make a comparison [d’ADN]”Said the Attorney General.
