The performance model costs ¥ 169,800, around € 20,200, 20 % more than the basic version. The rechargeable hybrid versions of the Sealion 06 stand out by generous batteries of 26.6 kWh. A capacity which allows to reach 170 kilometers in pure electric and, in duo with the heat engine, 1,670 kilometers on paper.
A price that risks climbing in Europe
There is already a model related in Europe called Seal U. a very similar variant aesthetically with pure electric propulsion. This European version could soon give way to this new Sealion 06. but as explained previously, the price may be significantly higher.
Customs duties on Chinese electric vehicles increase the bill. and there is little chance that the new generation Sealion 06 is at a price of byd: this new affordable electric € 16,600 in France or anywhere in Europe. To counter these costs, Byd will produce the European version in its future factory in Hungary.
