The 2025 edition of the beach of the Six Pumps attracted an average of 10,000 to 12,000 spectators per day in La Chaux-de-Fonds (NE), welcome the organizers on Sunday. She welcomed fifty Swiss and international companies for nearly 140 performances.

For the organizers, this year’s edition “is an edition that is good! Handered shows, sensitive subjects, but often also imbued with a good dose of positive energy, ”they write.
In their press release, the organizers quote more favorites: the circus show “inertia”, by Underclouds Cie (F), “as best they can, from the Cie MMM (F),” Delicate and poignant spectacle “on the theme of suicide, or even” Le Pédé “, of the collective Jeanine Machine (F), which” knew how to capture its audience (…) developing societal themes, in complete freedom ”.
The artists are paid according to the hat system. Spectators remain very attached to the tradition of the physical hat, even if the electronic version, set up last year, has increased and now represents 10% of the overall income of hats, specify the organizers.
The next edition will take place from August 3 to 8, 2026.
