These crottins are recalled due to a suspicion of contamination by the bacteria E.coli, explain the health authorities, which specify that “The Escherichia coli shiga toxinogen (STEC) can lead to the consumption of contaminated products, sometimes bloody diarrhea in the week, abdominal pain and vomiting, accompanied or not with fever”. In case of ingestion, if symptoms appear within two weeks, it will then be necessary to contact your attending physician.
People who have bought these cheeses should no longer consume them. Products must be reported at their place of sale or destroyed. The recall runs until August 30.
