Since July 11, pink containers have been available for rental for construction sites, public events or for renovations for individuals, in particular. With each loan, $ 10 is given directly to the Foundation. “This contributes to the financing of research, prevention, and support for people affected by breast cancer,” said the Démourdy group via a press release.
The company wants to take advantage of its visibility on construction sites and on the road. Thus, she wants her containers to become “committed symbols”. The phrases “Chez Groupe Démourdy, on Plique” and “will pass your mammo!” are visible on the pink containers which will bear the name of a person who has been affected by breast cancer as well as a grip, instead of a number.
Solidarity auction
In addition, the public is invited to bet to baptize a container in the name of a person who has been directly or indirectly affected by breast cancer. The first name or a personalized message will be displayed throughout the campaign. The basic amount is $ 1077, and all of the Sous of the Solidarity Auction will be paid to the Quebec Cancer Cancer Foundation. “It is a human and sensitive way of honoring our loved ones, while participating in a cause that affects thousands of families each year,” said the Démourdy group.
Getting involved is not new for the Bromontoise company, which already has several years of help with the Chus Foundation, for juvenile diabetes. Note that each green container rental, $ 10 are given in support of this cause.
