Death of Jonathan Lessard: Solidarity activates

Entrepreneur Rimouskois Jonathan Lessard died suddenly on July 10 at the age of 45. To help her spouse Gisèle Gagnon and their five children, a socio -financing campaign was launched to support the bereaved family.

“Mom at home, Gisèle has devoted all her time and her energy to take care of their young children. Unemployed at the time of the drama, it depended entirely on the income of Jonathan, who had just started a new job, without still having access to insurance. Their family stability, already shaken by mourning, is today more fragile than ever, ”writes Isabelle Gagnon, Madame Gagnon’s sister, Isabelle, on the Gofundme platform.

The target was set at $ 20,000. The funds collected will be used to meet the basic needs of children (housing, food, clothing) as well as their future needs (education and health).

“Jonathan was much more than a simple pillar of his family. He was their light, their security, their daily laugh. His departure leaves a huge void. Your gesture, as small as it is, is a glimmer of hope in the test that the family is going through. Whether he takes the form of a gift, a sharing or simply a word broadcast around you, he counts a lot. Together, we can make a real difference, ”adds Madame Gagnon.
