A 17-year-old adolescent girl faces a serious accusation for a murder that would have occurred last Friday in Waswanipi, in a North-du-Québec nation.

The Eeyou Eenou (EEPF) police officers, in collaboration with the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), went to the home of a young man of 19 following an appeal for an unconscious individual.
Upon arrival, the police discovered it with injuries that “claimed immediate medical attention”, according to information sent to a regional police statement published on Monday.
“The victim was transported to a local clinic where his death was declared later,” said the EEPF.
A 17 -year -old woman was arrested and she is now faced with a murder accusation in the Youth Court, the police body said.
The Unit of Major Crimes of the Sûreté du Québec has been deployed to conduct the investigation into homicide.
