• Saturation of the electricity network in the Netherlands : Quick electrification of the country, following the closure of the Groningen gas deposit, led the electrical network to saturation. • Budget 2026, a vagueness of energy : The budget presented by François Bayrou provides 43.8 billion euros in savings but lacks clarity on its impact for energy and climate. If the government promises to maintain the energy transition as a priority, the details of the agencies concerned or the investments remain vague. More info
• Renewables report 59 billion in the State : According to renewable France, wind and solar has generated 59 billion euros in net revenue for the State between 2022 and 2023 via the supplement of remuneration. These funds notably made it possible to finance part of the price shield and to moderate the prices of electricity. More info
• Nuclear production up despite a hollow in June : French nuclear production increased by 2.5 % (+4 TWh) in the first half of 2025 compared to the previous year. RTE, however, notes a drop in June, attributable to the hot weather that limited production. More info
• The energy transition, a key issue for the municipal elections : According to an IPSOS survey, the energy transition will be a significant voting criterion for 87 % of French people at the municipal elections of 2026. The cost of energy concerns 72 % of respondents, and half would be ready to pay more for local energy. More info
• DPE: 1.1 million households leave the colander status : The new method of calculating the DPE has a significant impact, according to Energies tomorrow. The number of housing classified as thermal hole prohibited for rental by 2034 is reduced by 670,000, benefiting in particular to tenants (51 %) and households in energy precariousness (34 %). • Social leasing: a new edition from September 30 : The government has announced the return of the social lease system for electric cars. The French active from the first five revenue deciles will be able to benefit from aid of up to € 7,000, for a monthly rent less than € 200. More info

• Global fracture in renewable energies : Irena alerts on a growing ditch in the deployment of renewables. While global capacity has believed 15 % in 2024, Asia captured 71 % of this growth, while Africa is struggling to attract investments, threatening the achievement of the 2030 climate objectives.
