Euro 2025: Record crowds, series goals: the Swiss formula is seduced

Euro ladies 2025 in Switzerland breaks records. Full stadiums and a Kyrielle of goals help to make the event a real football party.

According to a UEFA press release published on Monday, the group phase attracted 461,582 spectators in the stadiums, with 22 of the 24 closed counters. Never had the crowds were so high. Three years ago in England, there were 357,993 spectators at the same stage in the competition.

The average per match this summer amounts to 19,233 spectators. The busiest meeting was Germany – Denmark, which brought together 34,165 people.

The public was also able to appreciate a record of goals. There were 89 in the group phase, with an average of 3.7 goals per game. It is more than in England in 2022 (3.46) and in the Netherlands in 2017 (2.1).


Total excitement: thousands of fans in training

Several thousand fans attended the training of the female nati, Sunday in Bern. The new stars of Swiss football then lent themselves to the game of autographs and selfies with their audience.
