(AOF) – European equity markets began the week under the sign of prudence. If the concern still prevails over customs duties before the deadline of August 1 set by Donald Trump, the next few days will be led by many results in the United States (Tesla, Alphabet …) and in Europe (SAP, BNP Paribas, LVMH …). Today, if Ryanair has unveiled a better than expected performance, Stellantis has unveiled a loss. Around 12:10 p.m., the CAC 40 lost 0.49% to 7784.12 points and the Eurostoxx50, 0.54% to 5330 points. Long rates are clearly folded down.
In Europe, the title
Ryanair
(+ 5.15 %, at 24.29 euros) is particularly surrounded after the publication of particularly encouraging quarterly results, and in particular a quarterly benefit which has more than doubled. In the first quarter of its 2025-2026 fiscal year, the Irish low-cost company generated a before tax profit of 820 million euros, up 128 %, against only 360 million euros a year earlier. At the same time, the number of passengers transported increased by 4 %, for a total of 57.9 million.
Down 3.70 % at the opening, the title
Stellantis
managed to catch up with part of his delay (- 1.81 % at 7.777 euros). The automaker has unveiled preliminary figures showing a more pronounced degradation than anticipated by its accounts in the first half. Revenues should go back 12.6 % and net loss reach 2.3 billion euros. Stellantis has experienced a difficult pass for almost 10 months, a period during which the company launched a heavy Warning profit, changed general manager and withdrew its 2025 objectives due to customs duties.
Atos
(+4.11% at 28.63 euros) begins the week among the main increases in the SBF 120 after announcing cash consumption limited to the first half. As of June 30, 2025, the estimate of the total liquidity position of the IT group amounted to 1.804 billion euros, including 1.364 billion cash and 440 million euros in renewable credit facility, compared to 2.179 billion euros at the end of 2024.
