The main European scholarships are progressing at the start of the session on Monday, in rebound after the strong decreases recorded during the Friday session, investors continuing to analyze data on employment in the United States, pending more details on the commercial front.

In Paris, the CAC 40 earns 0.53% at 7,585.90 points around 07:16 GMT. In Frankfurt, the Dax advances 0.61% and in London, the FTSE 100 rises by 0.21%.

The Eurostoxx 50 index is up 0.58%, the FTSEURofirst 300 wins 0.12%and the Stoxx 600 takes 0.16%.

After the shock of American employment data on Friday, which weighed down the indices at the end of last week, investors digest the latest economic and commercial news.

As for customs duties, Swiss manufacturers warned on Friday that tens of thousands of jobs are threatened by the new customs duties of the American president Donald Trump, who imposed on Switzerland one of the highest rates established by his government. The Swiss reference index fell 1.8% to the opening.

In addition, an official report on employment in the United States published on Friday has shown that post creations in July had been much lower than the expectations, while that for June were revised in sharp decline.

The markets also learned about the resignation of a governor of the American Federal Reserve (Fed), Adriana Kugler, who will leave the Central Bank on August 8.

After an avalanche of results last week, the day is poor in financial publications, investors mainly awaiting the monetary policy decision of the Bank of England (BOE) this Thursday, which is expected to lower its key rate to 4%, against 4.25% currently.

At the values, Air France-KLM gains 3.5% thanks to a recovery of Barclays recommendation.

Swatch and Richemont retreat by about 3% after the announcement of American customs duties against Switzerland.
