A year after the death of Alain Delon, a tribute day was organized in Douchy this August 18. Absent from official commemorations, Anthony Delon still made an appearance by going to greet some admirers in front of the family estate.
To mark the one year of the death of Alain Delon, a tribute ceremony took place in the commune of Douchy, where he died on August 18, 2024. Absent commemorations, just like his brother Alain-Fabien and his sister Anouchka, Anthony ended up showing himself. At the end of the afternoon, the eldest of the “samurai” went to salute the few fans who camped in front of his residence, to their delight.
From the family estate, the eldest son then descended accompanied by Loubo, the dog of Alain Delon. Relaxed in Bermuda and khaki t-shirt, cap and sunglasses on his nose, he approached the gate and even withdrew his glasses to exchange a few words with the small group. “It’s nice to have come,” he said. “It’s normal,” replied one of them. With a smile, Anthony Delon deduces: “It’s the hard core, there”, triggering some laughs.
Curious, he then asked them if they attended the inauguration of the stadium renamed in the name of his father. When they agree, he then resumes: “Ah, he [le maire] let people enter then. At the start, it was prohibited to the public ”. A comment that might explain his absence.
Anthony Delon’s tribute to his father
If he did not take part in the official commemorations, Anthony Delon wanted to honor his father in his own way. In the morning, he had published on Instagram a video of the sunrise on the Douchy domain, alongside Loubo. A simple way to mark this first anniversary without your father.
Died at the age of 88on August 18, Alain Delon was buried in the private chapel of his field. As he wanted, he rests with his worshiped dogs, a choice that had required exceptional authorization from the prefecture.
