Farm warning of the National People’s Army

The National People’s Army (ANP) reiterates its determination to defend the borders of Algeria, its security and its stability. In the editorial of the issue of this month of July of the journal El Djeich, central organ of the army, it is recalled that this institution remains “the inexputable bastion of the nation” which was and will remain “the protector of the pride of the fatherland, the defender of his borders and his sovereignty, who ensures the preservation of his security and his stability”.

Like the National Liberation Army (ALN) was “the spearhead of the people, inflicting a scathing defeat on barbaric colonialism and its foundations”, the ANP proves today that it is “the protective shield of the nation and its sharp sword which will contrast the hand of anyone who fed the intention of undermining the security and stability of our homeland”, we read again.

The editorial adds that the national army is “fully aware of the greatness and weight of its responsibilities”, under the direction of an “enlightened, aware of the magnitude of the security challenges which are looming on the regional and international levels” and “changes that operate in our geopolitical environment and their repercussions on the security and stability of our country”.

Preservation of the country’s security: the ANP reiterates its determination

Algeria celebrated the 63rd anniversary of its independence in July 2025. On this occasion, the ANP has been strengthened by new promotions of “competent frameworks, militarily qualified and scientifically and impregnated with noble principles and national ideals”, recalls El Djeich.

This concludes by paying tribute to the chouhada of popular resistance and the liberating revolution as well as those of national duty, not without greeting the mujahideen and all those who, “deployed in all points of the sacred territory, along its immense border bands, in the mountains, the valleys and the plains”, continue to ensure the preservation of the security and the stability of Algeria and With “consciousness and a high and deep sense of national duty, so that Algeria remains forever sovereign, strong, safe and prosperous”.
