“All eligible requests will be reimbursed,” replied Transport Canada by email.

The Federal Ministry will announce on Friday that it will make all unpaid requests to Canadian dealerships through the same portal that had been used for subsidies of $ 5,000.

This administrative chaos started after the announcement by the federal government to end the IVZE program. There remained an amount of $ 71.8 million in the chests to subsidize nearly 16,000 vehicles.

However, this envelope had been dilapidated between January 10 and 12. Some owners had had difficulty taking possession of their new vehicles.

In order to relaunch the sale of electric vehicles in the country, Transport Canada studies the possibility of reinstating an incentive for consumers.
