A terrible discovery. Wednesday August 13, 2025, Four bodies were discovered in the Seine in Choisy-le-Roi (Val-de-Marne). An investigation was opened to determine the circumstances of their death. According to the Créteil prosecution, between the link between the deceased could not be made for the moment. The configuration of the river was able to cause their grouping.
Bodies immersed for several days
It was around 1 p.m. that a RER C user noticed that a body was floating in the water of the river. Made on site, the police contacted the river brigade of the police headquarters. The agents repeated the corpse, and discovered three others a few tens of meters. One was on the edge of the quay, the other two in branches. The four victims are adults, indicates a source close to the file. They have been immersed for several days.
Bodies were transported to The Medico-Legal Institute in order to be identified. The judicial police and the prosecutor’s substitute went there. An investigation was opened.
