The civil defense in Gaza reported eleven dead on Saturday in Israeli raids and fire in the besieged Palestinian territory. This is completely devastated by more than 21 months of war.
(Keystone-ATS) According to the spokesperson for the civil defense, Mahmoud Bassal, four Palestinians were killed in a strike which affected their apartment in the Al-Rimal district of Gaza-Ville, in the north of the territory threatened with famine.
A couple was also killed in a bombing in Gaza-Ville, he added.
Killed while waiting for help
Another Palestinian was killed “after Israeli forces opened fire on people waiting for humanitarian aid” in the northwest of Gaza-Ville, he told AFP. Witnesses told AFP that several thousand people had gathered in this area to get food.
One of them, Abu Samir Hamoudeh, 42, said that the Israeli army had opened fire “when people tried to approach the distribution point” located near a military post.

Two Palestinians were killed in a raid in Khan Younès (South) and another by artillery fire on accommodation at the Al-Bureij (center) refugee camp.
