Georges Ibrahim Abdallah returned to Lebanon after forty years in prison in France. DR
By Nabil D. – The Lebanese activist, unjustly imprisoned for forty long years in France, said that “the French bourgeoisie and his justice are not different from the other justices of any other country. Faced with a revolutionary activist, either they manage to kneel him, or they keep him in prison ”. “They only release it when the balance of power changes, that is to say when the bourgeoisie realizes that the cost of the activist’s detention begins to be higher than the potential damage that his release could cause,” he supported, in an interview with the French communist daily Humanity.
“When it comes to the interests of the State, the judicial sequence is in reality only a coverage, only a ceremonial. The reasons for the prisoner’s release are elsewhere. It is not a French specificity, “he said, stressing that there have of course been” American pressures “. “But the essential question is the relation to the struggle. Proof of this is the attitude of the prosecutor who appears in cassation after the decision to release me, “he continued, adding that” his appeal is not suspensive “. “In other words, he does it for the form, to tell the Americans that he follows the file to the end,” said Georges Ibrahim Abdallah, convinced that once he is in Lebanon, the prosecutor “can do nothing”.
Calling young French people to “get involved in the struggles”, the Lebanese activist warned against an “process of fascization in progress”. “It is not a small matter. It creeps everywhere, including in laws. If youth refuses to vote, it is because they are disgusted with these political leaders. If youth, proletarians, popular masses, downgrades, precarious people do not organize themselves, fascization will become the norm, “he warned, pointing to Bruno Retailleau and Gérald Darmanin, who want to” build super-prisoners “and” recreate high security districts “. “This is a sign of what these people are ready to do,” he noted. “These are the prospects of the bourgeoisie. It is very dangerous. When we see this type of attack, it is not by making curbs that we face, ”alerted Georges Ibrahim Abdallah.
“Today, in France, the State abandons all its prerogatives, whether it be security, education, ecology. Fascization will cause problems to those who fight because it will end up invading all aspects of life and at all levels. The communes have their own police, who herself will have her own militias, who are called vigilants. These will monitor foreigners, ”he predicted, on the basis of a relevant observation.
