The launch of the Pixel 10 series is upon us. As has already been established, Google will take advantage of the event of tomorrow to replace all Pixel 9 flagship models with direct successors, including the Pixel 9 Pro Fold (currently at $ 1,699 on Amazon).
As is often the case with the next Pixel devices, all have been the subject of various leaks in recent weeks and last months. For example, Anutu score leaks concerning the Pixel 10 Pro XL recently appeared on Reddit. Subsequently, the same Reddito carried out a comparative analysis of the same device on Geekbench 6.0.0, of which we integrated the proof below.
Even at this stage, the Tensor G5 enjoys a good lead on the Tensor G4 in the monocore and multicore benchmarks, although it is apparently a unit of demonstration of a retail store, which probably uses pre-verse software. According to our benchmarks, with a score of 2,296, the Tensor G5 surpasses the 18 % Tensor G4 in the unique Benchmark Geekbench 6. On the other hand, the score obtained by the Pixel 10 Pro XL places the Tensor G5 37 % in front of the Tensor G4 in the multicœur work.
Therefore, the Tensor G5 is almost at the same level as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in these synthetic tests. However, the next Google chipset is far from equaling the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Snapdragon 8 Elite. Although we imagine that the Pixel 10 series will obtain better reference scores when it will run retail software, we doubt that this change will make it possible to fill the gap of 25 % for monochers and 33 % for multicoors compared to the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
