Long traffic jams in the Gothard for the departure on vacation
The Swiss Touring Club (TCS) announces nearly 2 hours of traffic jams at the Gothard tunnel this Saturday morning.

To spin on the road to vacationyou will have to take your pain in patience. THE Touring Club Suisse (TCS) announced this Saturday, around 5 am already, a line of cars ten kilometers between Erstfeld (UR) and Göschenen (UR), before the northern entrance to the Gothard tunnel. For an expectation estimated at 1 h 10.

An expectation revised upwards later in the morning. According to the latest information posted by the TCS on its X account, the queue of cars is now 11 kilometers long, for an estimated wait at 1:50 am.
As an alternative route, the TCS recommends taking the A13 motorway and the Grand-Saint-Bernard tunnel.
