In Essonne, a female python escaped from the terrarium of its owner. She has been wanted since July 27.

The city of Morsang-sur-Orge, in Essonne, has published a special research notice on its Facebook page.

“It is not dangerous”

Since July 27, 2025, a snake of 1.80 m and about 8 kg, a non -venomous and used species in contact with humans, has been sought. The snake is described as “harmless but can bite if it feels threatened”. It is “not dangerous”.

Heat attracted

The female python that is called Naa, escaped from the terrarium in which he had given it. The latch being badly closed, the serpent then took off, as the Parisian reported, who questioned the owner.

As the publication specifies, “the snake is attracted to heat and could hide in a warm or dark place. This kind of situation has already arrived. It is not uncommon for the snake to be still in the home and reappears later”.

What if you see it?

It is advisable to call the firefighters if you ever have to fall on the python. Do not risk manipulating it without experience even if it does not present any character of dangerousness.
