The investigation into the disappearance of a homeless in Jujuy, Argentina, led the investigators to the home of an alleged serial killer.
Horror in Jujuy. This big city of Argentina is in shock after the arrest of an alleged serial killer, nicknamed by the inhabitants “Machette Man” (where “the machete man”) for his annoying habit to walk with a machete, but also to terrorize them and light fires. Matías Jurado, 37, is accused of having attracted at least five homeless home to his home by promising them false jobs or alcohol, of having driven them by taxi and having killed them and dismembered them, reports the A24 media.
During a search at his home in Jujuy, which Matías Jurado shared with his 16 -year -old nephew, the investigators discovered many human bones, but also human skin remains and even a nose whose DNA corresponded to at least one of the homeless, Jorge Omar Anachuri. This 68 -year -old man disappeared on Friday, July 25 and it was the analysis of the city surveillance videos that led the investigators to the famous Horror House of Jujuy.
Then the testimony of the nephew of Matías Jurado only made doubts about the defendant, who already made three stays in prison for armed flights: the teenager told investigators that his uncle “went out on Friday afternoon, returned with people and killed them in the evening”. “He beat them, killed them, cut their bodies, burned them and carried them into a poubelle bags,” he said.
Placed in pre -trial detention
Police are now trying to find out if the bones and remains of the skin found belong to the other missing homeless people, namely Miguel ángel Quispe, 60, Juan Carlos González, 60, Juan José Ponce, 51 and a fourth person whose identity has not been revealed. But already, indicted for “aggravated homicide” on the person of Jorge Omar Anachuri, Matías Jurado was placed in pre -trial detention. He denies the facts.
