Heat pump facilities benefit from more attractive legislation. Sales increased by 16% in the first half of 2025.
Heat pump sales increased by 16% in the first half of the year, compared to the same period last year, it emerges figures published by Climaféd and Frixis, two federations in the sector. Last year, Sales of this type of device had dropped by 40% in Belgium.
The strongest growth has been recorded in the air/water heat pump segment, where monobloc systems sales jumped 47%. Water/water/water/water heat pumps (geothermal systems) also experience revival, with an increase of 37%.
