A car made a road trip this Thursday, August 14, 2025 on the descent of Col Bayard. On board, a 54 -year -old man and three children. Two of them are hospitalized, while one died from his injuries.
This Thursday, August 14, in the afternoon, a vehicle left the road in the descent of Col Bayard, above the Napoleon campsite, not far from Gap. There were four on board: the driver, a 54 -year -old man, and three children under the age of 10 in the back, including an 8 -year -old girl nicknamed Lou.
The little girl did not survive
According to The Dauphiné liberated, Lou has undergone cardio-respiratory arrest on site. A police officer, witness to the drama, gave her a heart massage before she was evacuated as a helicopter to the Grenoble University Hospital.
She was declared in brain death, and died overnight or during the weekend: “His head shock was too important”according to a source close to the investigation.
A heavy assessment
The 54 -year -old man suffers from a serious lumbar trauma and was hospitalized in Marseille. Two other children, one being the driver’s daughter, were taken care of at the Gap hospital center, their condition being deemed less critical. An investigation is open for manslaughter indicates BFMTV.
