Here are all Microsoft products that will disappear before the end of the year

The general public is not the only one concerned by this wave of retirement. Many versions of products intended for companies arrive at the end of life, especially in the Dynamics range (C5, CRM, NAV and SL 2015) from January 14, 2025. These tools for customer relations management and business resources planning are pushed to more modern versions or equivalents in the cloud.

System administrators will also have to be vigilant, because the support ends for several versions of Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2 (via ESU) as well as for multiple cloud services on Azure. In particular are concerned Azure Database for Mariadb, the non -managed discs (Unmanaged Disks) or the old Load Basic Basic, whose support will cease on September 30, 2025.

The list goes on with the end of support for Exchange Server 2016 and 2019, and the various variations of Skype for Business (Server and Customer) dating from 2015 to 2019. Developers are not spared, with the Visual Studio 2015 stop and certain more recent versions in long -term support channel (LTSC).

Far from being a simple cleaning, this strategy confirms the acceleration of Microsoft to an ecosystem focused on the cloud and the subscription. The objective is clear: to push the whole of its user base, individuals as well as professionals, towards modern, integrated and continuously updated solutions. A transition that will require anticipation to avoid security risks and activity interruptions.
