Where will Byd stop? World number one of electric cars, the Chinese giant has just announced a… touch pad. She will arrive on the Fang Cheng Bao Tai 7, a hybrid SUV that could well arrive in Europe.
Until now, Byd has been content to innovate in the field of electric and hybrid cars, in particular via 1 MW refills, suspensions allowing to “dance” cars or electric coupes of 3,000 hp.

The automobile no longer seems sufficient for the new world number 1 of the electric car, since Byd has just announced on Weibo The upcoming arrival of its first connected tablet, developed internally.
An arrival on a hybrid SUV
To tell the truth, we do not yet know much about this tablet, except that it promises a “Fluid connection between the vehicle and the device”of the “Various entertainment” and interactions “Fun and practical”.
No word, for example, on the technical characteristics of the tablet or on the electronic components used. Only certainty: it will be provided with the Fang Cheng Bao Tai 7, a hybrid SUV which will be released in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Soon in Europe?
As a reminder, Fang Cheng Bao is part of the Galaxy byd, in the company of Denza, Premium oriented, and Yangwang, dedicated to luxury cars.
Can we imagine this TAI 7 ride one day in Europe? It would not be so amazing: Byd is currently launching Denza in Europe (France included), and presented the Fang Cheng Bao 5 in Goodwood this year under the acronym Denza B5.
As for the tablets, some large German roads, such as the BMW i7 or the Mercedes-Benz EQS, already have it. They serve as a “control center” for rear passengers, allowing them to manage the media, air conditioning or seats. A function that is also found in Tesla, but through a fixed screen.
