holidays, holidays, bridges … all the dates to know

Do you want to anticipate your family vacation? Provence invites you to look at the 2025-2026 school year and reveals the calendar established by national education and published this Wednesday, August 13 on the public service website.

Back to school scheduled for September 1

Students will have to return to school benches on Monday, September 1. The teachers’ pre-buried takes place on Friday August 29, 2025. The school year will end on Saturday July 4, 2026, date of the start of the long holidays. Holidays officially start on Saturday. The recovery takes place in the morning of the days indicated in the calendar.

May bridges

This year, May 1 and 8 fall on Fridays, which can allow many to organize long weekends. However, there will be only one bridge in May, namely that of the Ascension, which fell on May 14. Students will not have class on Friday May 15 and Saturday, May 16, 2026. Pentecost Monday, also without school, occurs on May 25, 2026.
