Disturbances are to be expected from this Monday, 8 p.m. on Monday, until the evening of July 16. The passage of the Tour de France in Toulouse will upset the habits of the inhabitants with streets prohibited for traffic and parking.

28th passage from the Grande Boucle

It is not every day that the city of Toulouse can accommodate a stage of the Tour de France. The last time was in 2019. But the pink city was already on the first route of the Grande Boucle in 1903. And since the runners have already spent 27 times in the city of Capitouls.

This time, Toulousains will be able to enjoy it as much as possible. Because the runners arrive this Monday evening. They will then take a well-deserved day of rest before continuing this Wednesday, July 16 with a time trial which should hold all its promises.

But who says Tour de France, also says constraints. For those who must work this week, it is better to favor telework or borrow public transport. Because the city will be partly completed with many traffic restrictions.

The arrival area in the Compans-Caffarelli will be fully prohibited for traffic.

Throughout the journey of this 11th stage, very many streets will be inaccessible by car or scooter from 5 p.m., Tuesday July 15 and until July 16 23:59. The areas of departure on the island of Ramier and the arrival in Compans will be the most impacted. On the side of Arnaud Bernard and to the finish line, will be closed to traffic on boulevard Lascrosses, the beginning of the streets of Toul, the Arcole cannon, Lascrosses, Armand-Duportal, Louis-François Lejeune, Lancefoc, Francisque Sarcey and boulevard Maréchal Leclerc.

This prohibition is valid throughout the course on the aisles Gabriel Bienes, the alleys Camille Soula, the James Lacassagne alleys, the avenue du Grand Ramier, the Pont Saint Michel, the Allées Paul Feuga, the Place du Parliament, the Halimi Gisème alleys, the streets of Languedoc, Alsace Lorraine, the Apple, Romiguières, Deville, Doyen G. Marty, Valade Starchs and Paul Biernes.

Finally, traffic on the island of Ramier, between the Poussage de la Poudrerie and the Saint-Michel bridge will be prohibited from 4 a.m. to 6 p.m. For the Saint-Michel bridge and the rue de Metz from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

And that’s not all. Even if you stay at home, you will have to park your car well. Because parking is also regulated this Monday 8 p.m. Monday. It will be forbidden to park boulevard Maréchal Leclerc, boulevard Lascrosses, rue Sébastopol, at the start of rue Ritay, Place Alfonse Jourdain, rue Lancefoc, rue Lejeune, rue de Toul, rue du Canon d’Arcole, on part of the Boulevard de la Marquette, rue du Béarnais and boulevard Maréchal Leclerc until July 16.

For those who do not respect parking prohibitions during the Tour de France, it will be the immediate pound.
