Publibike Velospot’s bikes and e-bikes are now an integral part of urban life in Friborg. With around 50 stations and some 450 bikes and e-bikes available both in town and in the surrounding municipalities, Publibike Velospot offers a flexible means of exploring the city. Publibike fixed stations offer users to know where to find and make a bicycle. In addition, these fixed stations contribute to maintaining order in the urban landscape.
Publibike Velospot’s bikes and e-bikes are not only in service in Friborg, but also in nine other cantons in Switzerland. Compared to other cities, Friborg ranks very well, especially if we take into account the size of the city. Admittedly, cities like Bern, Zurich, Ticino, Basel or the Lausanne-Morges region have more bikes and stations, but in terms of number of trips per year, Friborg is one of the leaders.
