In Türkiye for a hair transplant, a 38 -year -old Briton dies just “before the start of the intervention”

A British man died in Türkiye when he started a hair transplant in Istanbul. The clinic said, for its part, that “all the necessary medical exams and tests” had been carried out beforehand.

A 38-year-old man, from the United Kingdom, died in Türkiye while he was going there to perform a hair transplant. An investigation was opened by the Turkish police to determine the exact circumstances of the death.

The Dr Cinik clinic, in which the victim had reserved the operation, said in a statement that the patient had suddenly felt bad for reasons that are still unknown “.

In a press release, the establishment ensures that “all the necessary medical exams and tests were carried out in depth and without omission” for this operation, which was the second for their client.

An incident “before the start of the intervention”

The victim had started the preparation phase of the operation. After pointing out that his state of health deteriorated, he was transported in an emergency to the hospital, where he died “later in the evening,” said the clinic.

The clinic also assured that “the incident occurred before the start of the intervention”, denying initial information disseminated by the local press.

On the clinic site, the establishment indicates that it has carried out “more than 50,000 transplants” for customers, some of which are known as former footballers Rio Ferdinand, Bacary Sagna or Djibril Cissé.

“We support the family of a British national who died in Turkey and are in contact with local authorities,” a spokesman for the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Independent said.
