The Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) arrested two men in their forties for the introduction by break-up and concealment of less than $ 5,000, on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, in Haute-Ville.
The police were first called upon to go to a housing building on Boulevard René-Lévesque around 2:25 am concerning an introduction by break-in in a underground storage room.
Upon arrival of the patrollers, the suspects had already left the scene. The latter could however be found by bike, on a cycle path, a little further west, using a physical description given by the caller.
The two 42 -year -old and 49 -year -old men were finally arrested and then detained for appearance.
Series of introductions
The SPVQ also specifies that this arrest made it possible to connect the 49 -year -old man to almost a dozen break -in introductions, mainly for bicycle flights, which had occurred since early July 2025 on the territory.
This may also have committed other offenses of the same kind without these being denounced according to the police force.
