“It is sure that I will arrive with an OST ** of file,” he says. […] I don’t know if we’re going [avoir gain de cause] 100%, but, certain, the AMF will look crazy in Simonac. Because I tell you, our file, it is concrete, ”decided the ex-agent in an interview.
Our investigation office reported earlier this week the existence of a judicial appeal against this specialist in national security issues which regularly intervenes in the media.
The AMF notably calls for penalties of $ 150,000, including $ 70,000 for illegal investors solicitation, $ 30,000 for false or misleading information and $ 50,000 for attempting to obstruct a survey.
The appeal is related to a safety application project named Protect-Yu Security & Technologies, which has proven to be a failure, where hundreds of thousands of dollars in public funds have also been engulfed.
In a long telephone interview according to the publication of our article, Michel Juneau-Katsuya said he was very bitter in the way the AMF would have behaved so far in his file. The public documents about him would be far from saying everything, according to him.
“You have reported a part of the story and, I do not deny it, that’s what is said by the AMF. But what I’m going to say before the next judge is: here, here, there, there and there how the AMF misinterpreted. How the investigator was of poor quality, it is incredible, ”he says.
She “will be varoped” at the trial
According to him, at the time of the trial, the investigator responsible for his file “will be varoped as she has never been varoped”.
“It may be a market authority, that does not mean that it is on the right path,” he insists.
The former secret agent even judges that his case is the perfect illustration of much deeper problems with the AMF and says he knows the names of several victims of alleged abuse of the organization. However, he was careful not to provide us with these names.
Alleged breaches
Let us recall that in its appeal against Juneau-Katsuya, the AMF highlights a series of alleged shortcomings, including having falsely declared to investors that he did not benefit from the company. Expenses of expenses and payments of credit card sales have also been deemed problematic.
In its procedure, the AMF also cites the content of an email considered as an intimidation attempt sent by Juneau-Katsuya to an investor. Reproaching him for talking to the AMF, the ex-agent means that “it will soon be [sa] party and that’s a promise ”. In this regard, Mr. Juneau-Katsuya told our investigation office that this email would have been used out of context.
An audience in this file is scheduled for September 23 at the Financial Markets Court (TMF). “We will not comment on a file before the courts,” reacted the AMF in an email sent at the end of the afternoon on Wednesday.
