The World Beer Awards is a big international competition, which rewards the best beers in the world each year, after a blind tasting by an international jury of experts, including brewers, sommeliers, specialized writers and other industry professionals. The judges assess beers based on specific criteria such as appearance, aroma, taste, and general printing, in order to determine the best in each category.
The competition takes place in several stages. Beers are first evaluated at the national level, then the winners of each country are subject to an international judgment to determine the best beers in the world in each category.
