As every year, the festivities of July 14 were an opportunity to admire a sublime fireworks in the sky of Paris. After dark, from 11 p.m., An admirable pyrotechnic show was fired above the Eiffel Tower. Several paintings have been staged, celebrating the ten years of the Paris Agreement, the Seine or the first anniversary of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
For the first time, 1,000 drones were used for this show. Leaving more than 120 shooting stations, including 80 on the Eiffel Tower, they flew over Champ-de-Mars and Trocadéro in order to light the landscape thanks to trichromic LEDs with 360 degree diffuser.
Several French emblematic songs were played during this evening, especially The symphony of lightningfrom Zaho de Sagazan, The Seinefrom Vanessa Paradis and Matthieu Chedid, or Hymn to love by Edith Piaf, taken up by the cellist Gautier Capuçon. Au rayon international, Samba de Janeiro de Bellini made it possible to celebrate Brazil, just like New Romantics de Taylor Swift.
