The logistician Kühne+Nagel suffered a decline of 15% of net profit in the second quarter, at 252 million francs. Adjusted from exchange effects, the decline is only 10%, said the Schwytzois group on Thursday.

(Keystone-ATS) Between April and June, turnover has however increased, increasing by 2% to 6.15 billion francs. At constant exchange rate (TCC), the increase even reaches 8%, specifies the company in a press release. The volumes have registered up, especially in air freight.

In terms of operational profitability, operating profit (EBITDA) decreased by 7%, or 1% adjusted exchange effects, to 566 million, while the EBIT lost 15% (-9% TCC) to 342 million.

With the exception of the EBIT, the results somewhat lack the mark of the average forecasts of the analysts consulted by AWP.

Building on this performance, the group confirms its profit forecasts for the whole year, but lowers those for the EBIT due to exchange effects. Indeed, the recurring Ebit is now expected between 1.45 and 1.65 billion, after a range between 1.50 and 1.75 billion francs. In 2024, he had reached 1.67 billion.
