Mix & Remix’s talent deserves an M2 station
Under the leadership of the Drawing Walls Foundation, a hundred works by the deceased artist line the quays of Bessières station.
Travelers are plunged back into the world of Mix & Remix thanks to extracts from its enlarged press drawings and affixed to the stencil.

It is now a stop at the station of M2 Bessières in Lausanne to immerse yourself in the bestiary of the designer Mix & Remixdied in 2016. Cows, singers, fishermen, a knight in armor, a tightrope walker and even the nearby cathedral … The two docks are now animated by a hundred press drawings.

But that’s not all. “His drawing, freer and less known – that he mainly exercised in the 1990s in the street, for magazines, associations or the legendary club La Dolce Vita – is also at the party,” continues the Foundation. Mythical press designer and Swiss artist Romand Mix & Remix, alias Philippe Becquelin, is deceased at the age of 58. He notably made himself famous for the general public by his creation for the Alternative Music Club La Dolce Vita in Lausanne and his mechanical stories, his press drawings for the magazine “L’Hebdo”, “Le Matin Dimanche” as well as the “Infrarouge” television program of the RTS, or his humorous drawings for a collection of educational works published by LEP editions.
From September 11 to 13, the artist will be celebrated by the party in Mix, with a large ephemeral exhibition in Pyxis accompanied by a series of free access events.
