Live Report: Blackpink again makes the Stade de France vibrate again

Two years after its first date at the Stade de France, the BlackPink Quartet put the double bites and played during two dates in the legendary Parisian room! And the blinks were there despite the various artistic controversies surrounding the group’s career for a few years.

Currently, many fans are worried about the BlackPink career. If the popularity of the group has continued to grow, it is clear that the outings are almost nonexistent since the renewal of its contract with YG Entertainment. And for good reason: outside the single JUMPunveiled on July 11, no novelty is on the program for the quartet between its date at the Stade de France in 2023, and its new concerts of 2025. The new album, promised by the group now for months ago, is slow to point the nose and nothing is communicated on this subject …

But if the desire may not be quite there for girls concerning their common career, the trend seems completely opposite with regard to the path that each one travels solo.

In 2025, the members of Blackpink once again confirmed their status as global icons. Jennie released her first studio album Rubypraised for his international collaborations and in particular his performance in Coachella. Lisa shone with Alter Ego And her prestigious featurings, while starting as an actress with a (very) in short – but noticed – role in The White Lotus. Jisoo, for his part, revealed his EP Shockan intimate opus that mixes music and visual art. As for Rosé, his album rosie combines appointments and his hit APT.in collaboration with Bruno Mars, returned the planet. Obviously, all of them also always lead flourishing careers in fashion, but is it enough to continue to satisfy the impatience of blinks?

A wind of controversies

Despite his immense popularity, BlackPink did not escape criticism over his career. The lack of ever more spaced songs and comebacks are pointed out, which arouses the frustration of many fans. This is all the more true today, where the great return of girls with a substantial album still lacks the call.

By the same time, members are sometimes the target of criticisms for live performances deemed “soft” by certain Internet users and/or fans. The debates are going well online, especially since this trend seems to concern only the full concerts, and not the individual services of the girls. Their gradual distance from YG Entertainment – although the agency remains the record company which produces Blackpink as a quartet – also nourishes speculations on possible internal tensions, especially artistic. To date, members, however, claim to remain united and continue to display their friendship during official performances, as well as on social networks.

A heritage at the height?

Despite the aforementioned concerns, it is impossible not to see that Blackpink ignited the Stade de France on August 2 and 3, 2025. The two major concerts have shown the best of the French public, boosted like never before, which sang and danced on the biggest hits in the group – BOOMBAYAH, Shut Down, Kill This Love, DDU-DU DDU-DU, How You Like Thatamong so many others – without showing the slightest sign of fatigue.

With an explosive staging, the atmosphere was there in the room, whether you had fun scrutinizing the slightest misstep on stage or not. And of course, each girl shone solo, a dimension still little known on the concerts of BlackPink before the tour DEADLINE.

In short, the appreciation of a BlackPink concert is now done according to your expectations: you go for the fan service, for the quality of the performance offered by girls or for the general atmosphere? If this third option is your answer, there is no doubt that you found the concert grandiose. Otherwise, you may need to give members a chance during solo services …
