Ten days after his assault on the quay of Meulan-en-Yvelines station, in the Yvelines, a father testifies for the first time.
On July 27, Laurent*58, and her 28 -year -old daughter were violently taken to task by a couple while waiting for a train to go to a concert. For Europe 1, he returns to the outburst of violence they have undergone.
“I kicked in my head, in my back, in the thigh”
On this Sunday afternoon, Laurent accompanied his daughter on the station platform. The latter has short shorts, an outfit for the event where she goes: a K-Pop concert, South Korean music, at the Stade de France.
“There are people who have passed in front of us. A man and a woman. The man, sacred size, a good meter 85 easy. And then his wife wore an entire veil, black. The lady turns her head towards us. She speaks to her husband or her boyfriend, I don’t know. And there, they insult us, especially my daughter”, testifies the father.
The situation degenerates and the blows rain. “I found myself on the ground. I kicked in my head, in my back, in the thigh,” recalls Laurent. This dad loses consciousness in the eyes of her daughter, who is beaten by the woman in djellaba.
The young woman is then forced to go and pay a distributor 140 euros. Assessment: 10 days of incapacity for work for the father and 27 days of stopping for his daughter with 9 stitches. “She is marked everywhere,” he said distraught.
The two alleged attackers tried in September
Today, Laurent wonders about this outburst of violence. “It was properly dressed. This outfit is a normal outfit in a normal world. We are in a democracy. Democracy we accept it is everything, otherwise we go elsewhere” he points out.
The two alleged attackers, placed in pre -trial detention, will be tried on September 23. The man had already been convicted of violence which led to permanent infirmity. “What he was doing outside,” said Laurent.
