A 59 -year -old Swiss was sentenced for sexual harassment Monday August 4 in Malta, relay “20 minutes“, Quoting information from”Times of Malta». The latter’s defense asked that his name is not revealed, because of his status as “politically exposed figure”. It is not possible to deduce if it is an elected official, a parliamentarian, or even a magistrate.

The man, who recognized the facts, attacked a cleaning lady in a hotel on the island. The Swiss would have asked him for coffee, then water. When she returned to bring the glass of water requested, the employee found herself in the man’s room, who had put herself completely naked. He then caught and embraced the woman with force on her face and in her neck. The latter finally managed to escape and alerted a colleague as well as her management.

Arrested and presented to justice the next day, the man received 2 years in prison with 3 years suspended. The Court agreed not to disclose the identity of the Swiss, provided that that of the hotel employee is also protected.
